- Rauscher Farm’s diverse habitats comprise woodlands, shrublands, grasslands, wetlands, and access to Clamshell Pond. The map below shows Rauscher Farm’s boundaries and trails.
- Trails marked in green are woodland trails that follow the route of the farm’s historic maintenance trails. These trails connect with trails on adjacent state-owned Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) property.
- Trails marked in yellow are grassland trails. Volunteers mow these trails throughout the growing season. These trails follow grassland edges to provide access and enjoyment by visitors while also preserving habitat for grassland wildlife, insects, and vegetation.
- The large forested area at the center of the map intentionally has no trails. This is in keeping with management practices that accommodate both wildlife habitat and public access.

Rauscher Farm borders other important protected areas. It is part of the natural range of many species of animals inhabiting the area from the Wachusett Reservoir throughout the Sudbury / Concord River valley.
